AXOLIFT is a brand of Gromet Srl, a family-owned company founded in 1990.

Initially the company was specialized in small parts manufacturing and specific welding processes for local businesses. Over the years, the company grew becoming a very well established production company specialized in the production of metal components for customers all over Europe but with the focus on Germany and Austria. The majority of the production is supplied to companies active in the automotive industry, as a result GROMET is working to the high quality standards set forth by this industry.

In 2020 Gromet started a new project, creating a brand of Low Level Access products. Until that point, the company had mainly operated as a subcontractor but the ambition to develop its own products led to the design of its first fully manual machine: the Manulift 200.

Since then, AXOLIFT has progressively expanded its product portfolio building a complete range of solutions. The lineup continues to evolve, alongside a constantly growing network of dealers and customers.

In 2025, Gromet and AXOLIFT relocated to a new facility with the aim of increasing production capacity and consolidating all manufacturing activities under one roof. This strategic move allows the company to optimize processes and further improve operational efficiency.
